The Traveler

I am a guy who loves to travel. From a young age, I took long road trips across the United States. I have been to over 30 of the 50 states and to several countries outside of the U.S. I have been to Puerto Rico, Mexico twice, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil. I recently returned from California and New York. I like to travel. I think that immersing yourself into new and different cultures creates a new way of looking at the world and all of the people in it. It helps one see that there is still so much more out there than what they see right in front of them everyday. I have developed a greater appreciation for the different types of life styles that people live and for the different types of people there are in this great and beautiful world.

The Athlete

I grew up playing soccer and ever since I was eight, I have never stopped. While I only played soccer competitively, I am quite fond of just about every other recreationsports.jpgal activity. I regularly rock climb, snowboard, and play basketball. I do not think that life can truly be lived if one stays indoors. to truly experience life and what this great world has in it, one has to get out the door and get active. Playing sports has helped me learn how to push myself to be better, to work with others and on a team, and that if you are going to do something, you might as well do it the best that you can.

The Family Man

There is nothing more importantfam.jpgt to me than my family, nor is there anywhere I would rather be than spending time with them. I do love my family, but I am not referring to only my immediate family or those who are blood related. I do believe that there are some friends that occupy a place in my family, and that share that same relationship with me. I have countless memories and experiences with them that have helped shape who I am today, that I just love spending as much time with my family as I can.

The Student

Like we discussed in class, truth is a treasure and is the most valuable prize in this life. I actively seek out new knowledge and truth. I love learning, especially new things. I truly believe that knowledge is power. Power to make better decisions, power to help, power to inspire and teach. I want to obtain all the truth and knowledge that I can so that I too can have that power.
